The agent of Ezequiel Lavezzi has denied that Paris Saint-Germain have struck a deal with Napoli to take the Argentine to the Parc des Princes.
The 27-year-old is reportedly set to decide between a move to the French capital, Inter Milan or Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala.
According to an interview with French website foot01.com, Lavezzi's agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, revealed that Carlo Ancelotti had beaten off competition to land the £30m-rated striker.
Mazzoni was reported to say that the story was not a rumour but a "concrete option".
"Pocho will play in Paris next season, because they are the only club who made an offer close to the requests of Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis," he was quoted as saying.
"The announcement could come this week or even before the Coppa Italia Final with Juventus. These are not just rumours, but a concrete option."
However, he has now dismissed the quotes as fabricated, stating that they were "entirely made up".
