President Aurelio De Laurentiis has suggested that he has no intention of letting Marek Hamsik leave Napoli for a cut-price fee.
Hamsik is regarded as a club legend, with 501 appearances being made across an 11-year spell, but Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng Taishan are said to be keen on signing the Slovakian international.
However, despite Hamsik's loyalty to Napoli, De Laurentiis has said that he will not be allowing the player to leave the Serie A side for "a discount".
Speaking at the University of Naples Federico II, De Laurentiis said: "I told him; 'where are you going to go? This is your home'.
"After that, it is up to him if he wants to leave the club, but I do not do discounts for anybody."
Hamsik still has two years remaining on his contract.
