Frank Lampard has reportedly rejected the opportunity to speak with MK Dons over their vacant managerial position.
The League One outfit have been without a boss since the departure of Karl Robinson, but it has been claimed that Steven Gerrard is the frontrunner for the job after holding talks with the club.
However, according to ESPN, Lampard has signalled his intent to continue his playing career by turning down the chance to hold discussions with the MK Dons hierarchy.
The former Chelsea midfielder has previously revealed that he has aspirations to take his place in the dugout when he hangs up his boots, but it appears that he is looking to move to another club at the turn of the year.
The 38-year-old has made over a thousand appearances for club and country during a 21-year career.
