Former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill is reportedly set to move to A-League side Melbourne City following his departure from Chinese club Hangzhou Greentown.

Former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill has reportedly agreed a move to A-League side Melbourne City after parting ways with Hangzhou Greentown.

The 36-year-old joined the Chinese club in February and scored four goals in 16 appearances for the second-tier outfit.

According to reports in the Australian media, Cahill has agreed a deal in principle to sign for City, who are the sister club of Premier League side Manchester City.

The Socceroos' all-time top scorer made his name in English football, appearing more than 200 times for both Everton and Millwall.
