Melbourne Heart have recovered from a two-goal deficit to earn a 3-3 draw with Adelaide United in a six-goal thriller in Victoria.
The visitors raced into a 2-0 half-time lead after scoring twice in the opening 15 minutes, with Steven Lustica giving Josep Gombau's men the perfect start after just four minutes, before Sergio Cirio doubled the advantage shortly after.
Heart rallied after the break and completed the comeback 20 minutes into the second half, with Italian Andrea Migliorini hitting both goals to negate United's lead.
David Williams fired the hosts into the lead from the penalty spot, but there was time for more drama as Marcelo Carrusca's deflected free kick 13 minutes from time ensured that both managers would have to settle for a share of the spoils.
The point gained does little for Heart, who remain rooted to the foot of the A-League ladder.
