Interim Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly given the green light for the club to sell Alexis Sanchez this summer.
Sanchez only joined United from Arsenal in January of last year in a deal worth a reported £500,000 per week, but he has failed to live up to expectations so far with just three goals from 29 Premier League appearances.
The Chilean international has started just eight league games this season - and only three under Solskjaer - leading to speculation that the club could cut their losses at the end of the campaign.
The Daily Star reports that Solskjaer has told executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to get rid of Sanchez this summer, along with club captain Antonio Valencia and Marcos Rojo.
Solskjaer is yet to be handed the United job on a permanent basis, but that appointment is expected to happen and the Norwegian has been in talks with the club regarding plans beyond the end of his interim deal.
Juventus have been linked with a move for Sanchez, who previously played in Serie A for Udinese.
