Marcos Rojo has revealed that he has spoken to former Manchester United teammate Edinson Cavani over a possible move to Boca Juniors.
Cavani is due to be out of contract at Old Trafford in the summer and his father last week confirmed that the striker is "not comfortable" at United.
Luis Cavani also hinted that a switch to Argentinian football with Boca was a possibility for the 34-year-old, who has struggled for fitness in his only season in Manchester.
Rojo, who left United for Boca in January, has now opened up on the possibility of being joined at the iconic La Bombonera by the Uruguay international.
"I spoke with him. I played a little with him. We were together for four or five months," Rojo told TNT Sports.
"He is a great professional and, if he reaches Argentine football, he would be a great star that would do Argentine football good."
Paris Saint-Germain great Cavani has scored seven goals in 25 appearances for United since arriving on a free transfer last summer.
