Real Madrid will reject any offers made for centre-back Raphael Varane, according to a report.
The France international's future has been a big topic of discussion at the Bernabeu as he is rumoured to have informed his teammates that he wants to start a new chapter elsewhere from next season.
Four clubs are believed to be in the running to sign the 25-year-old - Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich, each of whom would be able to table serious bids.
Spanish outlet AS claims that Madrid are standing firm on their not-for-sale stance, though, meaning that Varane can only be signed if his €500m (£431m) release clause is triggered.
Los Blancos reportedly do not believe that there is any other player out there with the defender's level of experience, and they also consider selling one of their best players as a sign of weakness.
Varane signed a new-and-improved contract in 2017 that runs for a further three years, but another deal is apparently being readied that will take his salary to around £7.75m a year.
