United Arab Emirates Gulf League outfit Al-Ahli have reportedly made an offer of around £6m for Valencia midfielder Ever Banega.
The Argentine is regarded as one of the best midfield talents in La Liga, but a number of firness concerns and off-the-field issues have stunted his progress.
Manchester United have previously been linked with his services, but according to Canal Sur, a formal offer in the region of £6m has been submitted by Al-Ahli.
A loan deal has also been discussed, but it is understood that the Valencia hierarchy are only prepared to sanction a permanent move.
