Former Stoke City player Mike Pejic has suggested that the Potters should sign Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez this summer.
Hernandez is currently on loan at Real Madrid, but he has failed to establish himself in La Liga.
The Mexican is expected to leave United at the end of the season, and Pejic thinks that he would be perfect for Mark Hughes's side.
He wrote in The Sentinel: "As our thoughts inevitably start turning towards the summer and possible new signings, I'll throw the name of Javier Hernandez at you.
"Some might scoff at the very possibility of signing a player currently on loan to Real Madrid from Manchester United. But he isn't getting much game time out in Spain and we could certainly offer him more of that here in Stoke. If he still has some roots in Manchester the journey down to Stoke could be convenient."
Hernandez has scored four goals so far this season.
