Javier Hernandez's reported move from Real Madrid to Lazio is unable to get off the ground because of FIFA regulations.

The Mexico international is on loan at the Bernabeu from Manchester United, but has struggled for regular game time under Carlo Ancelotti.

The Serie A club were reportedly keen to take over Chicharito's loan deal, but FIFA rules stipulate that a player cannot play for three clubs in one season.

The 26-year-old has played two games - against Swansea City and MK Dons - this season for United.
