Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has reportedly demanded talks with manager Jose Mourinho over his future at the club.
Mkhitaryan made a quick start to the season with five assists in his opening three Premier League matches, but a loss of form resulted in him falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
The Armenia international has not started a game since early November, making only one substitute appearance since then with the likes of Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata now preferred by Mourinho.
The Daily Star reports that Mkhitaryan is now seeking talks with the United boss in order to ascertain whether he still has a future at the club ahead of the January transfer window.
Mkhitaryan has often been in and out of the team since arriving from Borussia Dortmund at the beginning of last season, and a return to the Westfalenstadion has been mooted as a potential option either in January or at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has made 58 appearances for United in total, scoring 13 goals.
