Manchester United want £4m for Danny Welbeck loan?

Danny Welbeck will reportedly command a £4m fee if he is to leave Old Trafford on loan this season.

Manchester United will reportedly accept a fee of £4m to allow Danny Welbeck to leave the club on loan.

The 23-year-old is not thought to be in Louis van Gaal's plans, with Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie his preferred strike force.

According to the Daily Mail Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in signing Welbeck, although it is believed that the striker would rather move to Spurs.

Welbeck previously had a season on loan at the Black Cats three years ago, where he scored six goals for the club.
