Manchester United have reportedly turned their attentions towards a deal which could bring Morocco and Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou to Old Trafford.
The 31-year-old stopper was instrumental in the African nation's heroic run to the World Cup semi-finals at the end of last year, and has been a top performer at the Andalucian club for a while now.
He won the Zamora award in La Liga last season, which crowns the division's best goalkeeper, as Sevilla finished in the top four for a third consecutive season.
However, a troubling campaign so far means that Sevilla could miss out on European football altogether, so they may be forced into selling some of their prized assets come the summer.
With David de Gea out of contract at the end of the season, United are on the lookout for potential alternatives with it appearing unlikely the Spanish keeper will have his contract renewed.
Brentford's David Raya and Portugal number one Diogo Costa are other names which have been touted, but with Sevilla's struggles this season, Bounou may be the most likely option, according to Fichajes.
Dean Henderson is still on their books too, but if United are serious in their pursuit for the £45m-rated Sevilla man, then his future may also lie elsewhere.
