Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly reportedly believes that there is a "strong chance" of him joining Manchester City during this summer's transfer window.
The Senegal international will allegedly be allowed to leave his Italian club ahead of the 2020-21 campaign should an offer in the region of £90m arrive.
Liverpool have been strongly linked with the 29-year-old in recent days, although it is understood that the European champions are £32m short of Napoli's valuation.
According to journalist Duncan Castles, speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, Koulibaly is of the opinion that he could be heading for the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The defender still has three years left to run on his contract at Stadio San Paolo but could depart as Gennaro Gattuso's side face missing out on Champions League qualification for next season.
Manchester United and Chelsea have also both been credited with an interest in his services.
