Manchester City allegedly feel that they are the frontrunners to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
Since leaving City for Dortmund in 2017, Sancho has emerged as one of the top prospects in European football, scoring 25 goals from 77 appearances in all competitions.
However, after a couple of issues behind the scenes, the 19-year-old is being heavily linked with a summer switch to another club.
According to The Sun, City are confident of securing a reunion with their former academy player, ahead of the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool.
The report claims that City are due 20% of any transfer fee received by Dortmund, potentially leaving the German side more inclined to sell to the Premier League champions.
City are also said to feel that the youngster, valued in the region of £90m, would prefer to be in familiar surroundings at the Etihad Stadium.
