Liverpool are yet to contact Leeds United over a potential deal for Brazilian attacker Raphinha, according to a report.

Leeds United have reportedly not been contacted by Liverpool over a potential deal for Raphinha despite the widespread speculation surrounding the attacker's future.

The Reds are said to be ahead of Manchester City and Manchester United in the race to sign the Brazilian, with some reports suggesting that an offer in the region of £32m had been lodged.

However, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, there has been no bid or contact from Jurgen Klopp's side when it comes to the 24-year-old.

The report claims that Leeds are determined to keep hold of the South American but are in a strong position to demand 'a huge fee' if they are approached.

Raphinha, who arrived at Elland Road from Rennes last October, scored six times and provided nine assists in 30 Premier League appearances during the 2020-21 campaign.

The playmaker's contract with Marcelo Bielsa's side still has more than three years left to run.
