Sporting director Simon Rolfes has acknowledged that he expects Kai Havertz to leave Bayer Leverkusen in the near future.
Having contributed nine goals and seven assists from 30 outings in the Bundesliga and Europe this season, the playmaker has been tipped to make the step up to a bigger club.
With Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Munich said to be monitoring the situation, Rolfes feels that it will be "logical" for the 20-year-old to eventually depart the German team.
Speaking to Bild, Rolfes said: "The fact that Kai will eventually leave Leverkusen is a logical development.
"I am not surprised that moving abroad attracts him. We know what he feels very comfortable with us, we are in constant contact with Kai – everything is open and transparent."
Leverkusen boss Peter Bosz has previously suggested that Havertz will cost in the region of £90m.
