Bournemouth forward Joshua King allegedly feels 'used' by Manchester United after his former club failed with a bid for his signature last week.

Bournemouth forward Josh King allegedly feels that Manchester United 'used him' during the closing hours of the January transfer window.

With just over 24 hours remaining before the deadline, King was heavily linked with a switch to United - a club where he spent much of his youth days.

However, after the two teams failed to agree a deal, United quickly moved on to other targets, eventually securing a loan move for Odion Ighalo.

According to The Athletic, King has been left feeling 'messed about' by his former club after they indicated that they would make an improved offer on deadline day.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe hinted in his press conference on the same day that the Norway international was open to a second period at Old Trafford.

King has less than 18 months remaining on his contract at the Vitality Stadium.
