Barcelona have reportedly agreed to sell defender Yerry Mina to Everton for a fee of £28.5m.
Mina has been heavily linked with a number of clubs during the transfer window due to Barcelona currently possessing too many non-European players in their squad.
Manchester United have held an interest in the Colombia international as Jose Mourinho looks to bring in a new centre-back before the end of the transfer window, but it appears that Everton are leading the race to sign the 23-year-old.
According to Sport, the Toffees have come to an agreement with the Catalan giants over a fee, which will lead to the Premier League club attempting to finalising personal terms with the player.
Everton will also have to work towards a deal regarding agent fees, something which is said to have resulted in negotiations stalling with Manchester United.
The report claims that Everton are prepared to offer Mina a five-year contract.
