Manchester United youngster Ezekiel Fryers is wanted by Burnley manager Eddie Howe, according to reports.

Burnley manager Eddie Howe is hoping to secure the services of Manchester United defender Ezekiel Fryers on a loan basis, according to Sky Sports News.

The Burnley boss reportedly failed in an attempt to sign the 19-year-old during the January transfer window.

However, he is now ready to return with a second bid to add the centre-back to his squad.

Fryers's future at Old Trafford has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks following his reported snub of a new contract offer from the club.

His current deal is due to expire in the summer.
