Everton striker James McFadden has emerged as a loan target for Championship club Burnley, according to Sky Sports News.
The 28-year-old rejoined the Toffees in October but has only made one start during his second stint at Goodison Park.
He is believed to be keen on a loan move away from the club to prove his fitness and ability to Everton manager David Moyes.
Burnley boss Eddie Howe recently admitted that he would like to add to his attacking options and is said to have identified McFadden as the ideal candidate to fill the void.
