Ajax have confirmed that Daley Blind has completed his move to Manchester United.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford all summer, and United revealed last week that they had agreed a fee believed to be around £15m for the player.
Personal terms have now been agreed, with Ajax announcing the news of the completed transfer on their website just hours before the transfer window closes.
The move sees Blind link up with manager Louis van Gaal once again after the duo worked together with the Netherlands during this summer's World Cup.
Blind, who made 146 appearances and scored three goals during his six-year career at Ajax, can play in central midfield or in a wing-back role.
He becomes United's sixth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo, Angel di Maria and Vanja Milinkovic.
Monaco striker Radamel Falcao is also expected to complete a season-long loan move to Old Trafford before the 11pm deadline.
