Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho in the January transfer window, with the player's future at Old Trafford in doubt.
The 23-year-old is entering his third season in the Premier League with the Red Devils, having signed from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021 for £73m.
Sancho has since made 82 appearances for United - scoring 12 goals over a two-year period - however future game time could be under threat by a recent falling out with head coach Erik ten Hag.
The winger did not make Man United's matchday squad for their 3-1 loss at Arsenal on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League, with Ten Hag suggesting that the player's performances in training had not hit the required standards.
Sancho was quick to respond to his Dutch coach on social media, stating that he had been made a "scapegoat" in recent times when the team's results have not been favourable.

According to Fichajes, Bayern Munich are emerging as contenders to bring Sancho back to the Bundesliga in January, with his career in Manchester currently in doubt.
The report claims that the German champions have been in contact with the 23-time England international over the summer, meaning that the player is aware of the interest that Thomas Tuchel's men hold in him.
It is understood that the Bavarian giants believe a deal could be struck with the Red Devils for as little as €50m (£42.8m), despite Sancho switching to Old Trafford for £73m just two seasons ago.
The Bundesliga champions are reportedly confident that the winger would be able to rediscover his form at the Allianz Arena, surrounded by offensive talents such as Harry Kane.
Sancho netted 50 goals in 137 appearances for Dortmund between 2017 and 2021, with the Englishman managing to provide a remarkable 33 goal contributions in the 2019-20 Bundesliga campaign.

Last season's return of six goals and three assists in 26 Premier League games is the closest that the 23-year-old has gotten to recreating his Dortmund productivity since moving to Old Trafford in July 2021.
Separate reports from earlier this week have suggested that Sancho could be exiled from the Red Devils' squad after publicly criticising the club's head coach Ten Hag on social media.
Having failed to nail down a regular place in the Man United side, the former Manchester City youngster has not been selected for a senior England squad since November 2021, meaning that he missed the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Red Devils will continue their Premier League campaign after the season's first international break by welcoming Europa League-bound Brighton & Hove Albion to Old Trafford on September 16.
