Arsenal have reportedly grown increasingly impressed by Benfica winger Andrija Zivkovic during their scouting trips to watch the 21-year-old this season.
The Gunners have identified Zivkovic as a possible transfer target this summer having tracked his progress since his days at Partizan Belgrade, missing out on his signature when he initially joined Benfica.
However, having sent scouts to watch him on numerous occasions this season, manager Arsene Wenger is now understood to be determined to bring the Serbian to the Emirates Stadium when the transfer window opens.
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo reports that Arsenal representatives were once again in attendance for Benfica's 2-0 win over Feirense on Saturday, when Zivkovic played the full 90 minutes.
However, the North London outfit are expected to face competition for his signature from Manchester United, who have also sent scouts to watch the youngster this term.
Zivkovic has made 20 appearances for Benfica across all competitions this season, scoring three goals and assisting four more.
