Carlo Ancelotti hints that Real Madrid could move for both Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland next year.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that the Spanish giants will attempt to sign both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

Los Blancos are said to be the favourites to secure Mbappe's signature, with the France international seemingly preparing to leave Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires next June.

Haaland, meanwhile, will have a £63m release clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract next summer, and a recent report claimed that the 21-year-old is keen to make the move to Bernabeu.

Ancelotti has said that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has "big plans" and "serious intentions" for next summer's transfer window, with Haaland and Mbappe both thought to be targets.

"At Real Madrid, everything is the same and unchanged," Ancelotti told Corriere dello Sport. "The only thing that changes are the coaches. The same physios, the same workers, the same journalists, the same vision, the same urgency for greatness, despite the economic damage caused by the pandemic.

"In one year, at the end of December 2022, the new [Estadio Santiago] Bernabeu will be ready and Florentino has big plans for July. Florentino has very serious intentions. [Signing Erling] Haaland in addition to [Kylian] Mbappe? Let's talk about it later."

Real Madrid, though, have allegedly cooled their interest in Paul Pogba despite the fact that the Manchester United midfielder could be available on a free transfer next year.
