Rio Ferdinand could refuse to shake John Terry's hand when Manchester United meet Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The traditional pre-match handshake was abandoned for Chelsea's FA Cup tie at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday due to tensions between the two sides.

Terry was charged by the CPS in December for allegedly racially abusing Anton Ferdinand during October's league match at Loftus Road. The England captain denies the charge.

Anton's older brother could now take a stand against the England captain, according to the Daily Mail.

Terry will attend West London Magistrates' Court on Wednesday to face the charge.
