QPR boss Mark Hughes has confirmed that the majority of his side were considering refusing to shake John Terry's hand before their 1-0 FA Cup loss to Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.
Hughes revealed that a meeting between the players last night confirmed their unequivocal support for Anton Ferdinand.
"There could well have been an issue but players make their own decisions. I said Anton was the guy who had to make his own decisions for himself about whether or not he shook John Terry's hand," Hughes told The Mirror.
"With the group I have got I know they wanted to support their teammate and the situation in the end was to take it out of the equation and not to have the issue."
QPR resume their domestic duties against Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.
