Match winner Hugo Rodallega found the net for the first time in the Premier League since January 2013.
The Colombian's goal helped Fulham to win away from Craven Cottage - something that they had not done since their Boxing Day success at Norwich City.
Meanwhile, Villa have collected 17 points from a possible 51 in front of their own supporters.

Cardiff City 0-3 Crystal Palace
The Eagles scored three goals for the first time in a Premier League away match since October 1997.
When Jason Puncheon opened the scoring for Palace, it was their maiden goal on the road since Boxing Day.
As for Cardiff, they have now conceded 32 goals at home - the same number that they have shipped during their away encounters.

Hull City 1-0 Swansea City
Swansea's poor run of form continued away at Hull, having failed to win on any of their previous six visits.
They have also not won any of their last 11 away matches in the Premier League.
Switching to Hull, George Boyd's last five goals have been scored at the KC Stadium.

Despite their struggles at Old Trafford, no team can better or match Man United's haul of 33 points away from home this season.
The clean sheet also meant that the Red Devils have not conceded in any of their last five matches on the road.
As for Newcastle, they have now not scored in 11 of their previous 15 outings.

Norwich City 0-1 West Bromwich Albion
The Baggies have now won on four of their last five visits to Carrow Road.
What's more, Pepe Mel's outfit kept their first clean sheet in 11 attempts.
The defeat proved to be one too many for Norwich manager Chris Hughton, who was sacked by the board after 22 months in charge of the Norfolk-based club.

Chelsea 3-0 Stoke City
Frank Lampard's goal took his Premier League tally to 171, which leaves him joint fourth in the standings with Wayne Rooney.
However, his goal came after Asmir Begovic had saved his penalty, meaning that Lampard has failed to convert three of his last five Premier League spot kicks.
The defeat was the first that Stoke had suffered since February 22.

Everton 3-0 Arsenal
After 13 failed attempts, Everton finally got the better of Arsenal in a Premier League fixture.
Half of the 40 goals that the Gunners have conceded this term have come in away encounters against Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Everton.
Arsene Wenger's side have collected 18 points from a possible 42 in 2014.

Steven Gerrard's two converted penalties took his tally for the season from the spot to 10.
Liverpool have now scored 90 goals this campaign - only three other clubs have achieved that feat.

On what was his first Premier League start for Tottenham Hotspur, England Under-21 international Harry Kane opened his goalscoring account.
It was also a landmark night for Lee Cattermole, who found the net for the first time for Sunderland on what was his 96th Premier League appearance.
The Black Cats are without a victory at White Hart Lane since 2008.
