Carlos Tevez believes that it is still possible for Manchester City to win the Premier League title.
The Argentine, who has just returned from a three-month stint on the sidelines, scored a hat-trick in the Citizens' 6-1 win at Norwich City.
City had found themselves eight points behind the Red Devils last week but defeat at Wigan Athletic means that Sir Alex Ferguson's men are still just five points clear.
Tevez has refused to admit defeat until it is mathematically impossible for City to topple the champions.
"Of course we can still win the title," Tevez told City TV. "Obviously we have to put pressure on United. We just need to continue to play the way we are and we will arrive at the top. Mathematically it's not impossible."
Manchester City face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Sunday.
