Manchester United have reportedly brushed away rumours suggesting that new signing Radamel Falcao is 30 years old and not 28.
Last summer, questions over Falcao's age arose when his old school documents, which claimed that he was born in 1984 as opposed to 1986, were leaked.
The striker's family released his birth certificate to the Colombian media in a bid to prove that he was then 27.
According to the Daily Mail, United sought assurances regarding Falcao's age before signing the forward on a season-long loan deal from Monaco on transfer deadline day last Monday.
Back in 2005, Falcao was rumoured to have lied about his age so he could play at the Under-20 World Cup.
