Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah has insisted that he no longer wants to be considered as a bright prospect for the future.
The 20-year-old is understood to be highly regarded at Old Trafford, but was sent out on loan to Crystal Palace last season, where he made 24 first-team appearances for the Eagles.
Fosu-Mensah has played just 19 senior games for United, meanwhile, and the Dutchman suggested that his career progress may have been hampered by his lack of game time under Jose Mourinho.
"I do not want to hear that I am young and that my time is still coming, I want to reach the top as quickly as possible, that's me," he is quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News.
"The top is World Cup, European Championship, Champions League final, which is the top for me, winning prizes.
"I was close to the Dutch national team when I was at United, but I did not play anymore. From August 2017 to May 2018 I was leased to Crystal Palace, I think that was a good choice. I can also play for Oranje (the Dutch national team)."
Fosu-Mensah has won three caps for the Netherlands since his debut last year.
