Jamie Carragher has insisted that Manchester United's front three is as good as the famous Liverpool trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
The aforementioned threesome have set the standards for attacking football in the Premier League, netting 56 goals between them last season.
Against Manchester City, however, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James produced an electric 30-minute spell of rapid counter-attacking football to help claim a 2-1 victory.
Reflecting on the trio on Sky Sports News, Carragher said: "Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Daniel James - when these three are running forward, they are as good as the City three or Liverpool three, they're just not consistent enough, that's their problem."
While James has not scored since August, Rashford and Martial have netted 17 goals between them since the latter returned from injury at the end of October.
