Romelu Lukaku to miss Bosnia-Herzegovina clash due to ankle injury

Romelu Lukaku will miss Belgium's World Cup qualifier against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday but may play a part in their final Group H game against Cyprus next week.

Romelu Lukaku has been ruled out of Belgium's World Cup qualifier against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday.

The 24-year-old was an injury doubt for Manchester United's final match before the international break against Crystal Palace, but played and scored in the 4-0 victory.

Lukaku has not travelled to Sarajevo with Belgium, who have already qualified for next year's finals in Russia, after failing to train this week because of his ankle injury.

However, the Belgian FA has confirmed that the Red Devils forward could play in next week's final Group H game at home to Cyprus on Tuesday.

United resume their Premier League campaign against bitter rivals Liverpool at Anfield on October 14.
