West Ham United have reportedly ruled out swooping for free agent Yaya Toure this summer.
Rumours linking the Ivorian veteran with a move to the Hammers intensified when his former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini took over at the London Stadium.
According to the Evening Standard, however, the Chilean coach is keen to pursue younger transfer targets and has made Fulham duo Ryan Fredericks and Tom Cairney his top priorities.
Toure failed to score in his 17 appearances for City during the 2017-18 season and was released by the club when his contract expired at the end of the term.
The experienced midfielder was previously linked with Everton and Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls.
