Scott Sinclair has reportedly passed a medical at Aston Villa prior to a proposed loan move from Manchester City.
Last week, Villa manager Paul Lambert claimed that a deal to sign the out-of-favour City player had fallen through due to the amount of various fees.
However, talks resumed earlier this week, and according to Sky Sports News, Sinclair has come through all the relevant medical tests and is close to signing a loan deal for the rest of the season.
Sinclair has started just two games for City since his move to the Etihad from Swansea City in 2012.
