Report: Real Madrid win race for Malaga's Isco

A report claims that Real Madrid have beaten Manchester City to the signing of Malaga midfielder Isco.

Real Madrid have reportedly beaten Manchester City to the signing of Malaga midfielder Isco.

The Spanish Under-21 international, who is regarded as one of the best young talents in Europe, has been linked with a host of European sides this summer.

Former Premier League champions City had reportedly been the favourites to acquire his signature, but according to AS, Madrid have won the race for the 21-year-old.

Isco is currently on holiday in Ibiza, but a formal announcement on his future is expected next week.
