Nicolas Otamendi has signed a contract extension at Manchester City that will keep him at the club until 2022.
The defender has been at the North-West outfit since his 2015 switch from Valencia, and in total has made 118 appearances for the men in sky blue.
The Argentine has not always been an integral figure for the City team, but under manager Pep Guardiola the 29-year-old has thrived, particularly this season.
Otamendi has played in all but one of the team's 23 Premier League matches, and as a reward for his impressive performances, the defender has been handed a contract extension.
During his time at the club, Otamendi has picked up one trophy - the EFL Cup - but as it stands, Guardiola's men are running away with the league title with a 12-point advantage over the rest of the field.
