Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc says that the club could sign Edin Dzeko from Manchester City in the summer but only for the right price.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has confirmed that the club are interested in signing Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko in the summer.

However, Zorc says that a transfer is only feasible if the Premier League champions are willing to let the 27-year-old leave for a cheap price.

"There should be little doubt about Dzeko being a top-class striker," he told Bild. "He is a great forward and a player one should be keen on.

"However, there is also still somewhat of an economic aspect. [A transfer] would be down to pure maths because Dzeko is under contract at Manchester City beyond the end of the season."

Dzeko joined City from Wolfsburg in January 2011.
