Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that Frank Lampard's Manchester City future will be decided in the next month.
The 36-year-old midfielder is currently on loan from City's sister side New York City FC and is expected to return to America in time for the start of their inaugural MLS season, but Pellegrini has hinted that Lampard could stay with the Premier League champions for a little longer.
"We are going to talk to all the parties and make a decision in December," the Chilean told the Guardian.
"If all parties agree then maybe we can keep him, but it could be that we want to keep him and Frank wants to go.
"I speak to Frank every day and I have the impression that he is playing better every day. I am certainly very happy with the loan so far."
Lampard has netted four goals in 10 appearances for City so far this season.
