Manchester City have reportedly placed Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell at the top of their wishlist for the summer.
City are known to be in the market for a long-term replacement for defensive midfielder Fernandinho, but it appears that Pep Guardiola is also desperate to strengthen in the left-back position.
Benjamin Mendy has struggled with injury since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2017, and it has led to Chilwell being frequently linked with a switch to the Premier League giants.
According to ESPN, Guardiola is prioritising the signing of the England international, having been required to use Fabian Delph and Oleksandr Zinchenko in place of Mendy.
Chilwell could potentially cost in the region of £60m having recently penned a new long-term contract at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester will not be keen to lose one of their key men, but failure to secure European football may force their hand.
