Bayern Munich have allegedly increased their efforts to secure a deal for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane.
Having suffered a serious knee injury in August, Sane is yet to make a competitive appearance this season.
However, with less than 18 months remaining on his contract, the Germany international remains a top target for Bayern.
According to Bild, Bayern's sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has moved to hold talks with the new representatives of the 24-year-old.
The report claims that the two parties held discussions last week as they assess whether a transfer is a realistic possibility.
Although City would like to extend Sane's deal at the Etihad Stadium, the Premier League giants are likely to cash in on the attacker if fresh terms cannot be agreed in the coming months.
