Barcelona have reportedly joined the race to sign Atalanta BC defender Robin Gosens before the start of next season.
The left-sided player has just enjoyed a productive campaign in Serie A, contributing 11 goals and six assists from 32 appearances.
Having also scored for Germany against Portugal at the weekend, the 26-year-old has allegedly emerged as a target for Premier League champions Manchester City.
However, Sport1 claims that Barcelona are also monitoring the situation ahead of a big-money approach during the summer transfer window.
While Jordi Alba has been the club's long-term option at left-back, the Catalan giants may view Gosens as his natural replacement.
Gosens is said to prefer a transfer to the Bundesliga, but stronger interest is allegedly coming from La Liga, Serie A and the Premier League.
