Team News: Nolito starts for Manchester City

Nolito ousts Jesus Navas from the Manchester City starting XI as they welcome West Ham United to the Etihad.

Nolito has ousted Jesus Navas from the Manchester City starting XI as they welcome West Ham United to the Etihad this afternoon.

Pep Guardiola rewards the summer signing with a starting berth after he came off the bench to score two against Stoke City last time out as the Citizens ran out 4-1 winners.

Nolito will partner Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling as a three-pronged support for lone striker Sergio Aguero.

Fernandinho and David Silva continue at defensive midfield, while there is one change in the back four, with Gael Clichy back in for Aleksandar Kolarov.

For the visiting Hammers, Slaven Bilic makes two changes to the side that defeated Bournemouth 1-0 at the London Stadium last time out.

The most surprising move sees 20-year-old Ashley Fletcher earn his full debut for the club and start up front alongside Enner Valencia.

Bilic names a five-strong defence, with Angelo Ogbonna coming into the fold at the expense of Sam Byram.

Manchester City: Caballero; Zabaleta, Otamendi, Stones, Clichy; Fernandinho, Silva; De Bruyne, Sterling, Nolito; Aguero
Subs: Hart, Fernando, Nasri, Kolarov, Delph, Iheanacho, Navas

West Ham United: Adrian; Antonio, Collins, Reid, Ogbonna, Masuaku; Tore, Noble, Kouyate; Fletcher, Valencia
Subs: Randolph, Byram, Burke, Oxford, Obiang, Lanzini, Calleri
