Carlos Tevez pulled on a Manchester City shirt for the first time in over five months this afternoon.
The Argentine striker played 45 minutes for the club's elite development side in a fixture against Preston North End at the club's training ground.
Tevez had one chance to find the net during his outing, but a Preston defender retreated to clear the danger for a corner.
City's medical staff are now expected to collect data from Tevez's performance to determine when he will be fit enough to become a part of Roberto Mancini's plans.
