Claudio Ranieri insists on Monaco stay

Ranieri dismisses reports that Monaco want to replace him with Roberto Mancini as their coach in the summer.

Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri has dismissed suggestions that he will leave the club at the end of the season.

The French outfit reportedly want Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini to replace Ranieri in the summer should they gain promotion to Ligue 1.

"It's always that way in football," ESPN quotes him as saying. "In Italy, it's also always the same thing.

"But there's nothing in it. I have two years left on my contract. Whatever happens, Monaco are improving. And improving with me. That's the most important thing."

Monaco are currently four points clear at the top of Ligue 2.
