Manchester City's Phil Foden was involved in a backstage scrap during Kell Brook's boxing match with Amir Khan on Saturday.
A video on social media shows the England international heading to a backstage room with a pained expression on his face, closely followed by his mother and a group of men.
Words are exchanged before the altercation turned physical, with Foden's mother shoving one of the men, who then attempted to strike her in the face.
Foden's security entourage soon became involved as the 21-year-old also emerged from his room to try to intervene, with the two clashing parties eventually being separated after a minute-long scuffle.
