Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has conceded that his side have been forced out of the running to clinch the Premier League title.
The current English champions are 15 points adrift of arch rivals Manchester United in the table following their 2-0 defeat to Everton almost a fortnight ago.
While the Italian boss has admitted that his team have no hope of lifting the trophy, he is adamant that the blue half of Manchester will fight to win every game.
"It's over but it doesn't change nothing because we should do our best from now until the end," Mancini said in a press conference. "Every top team, when you can't win a title, should try to play well, to win all the games, and we also have the FA Cup semi-final."
City have nine games remaining in their domestic campaign.
