Roberto Mancini claims that Manchester City can lift both the Europa League and Premier League this season.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has said that his side are capable of lifting both the Europa League and Premier League trophies this season.

The Citizens, who are favourites ahead of their European showdown with Sporting in Lisbon tonight, hold a two-point lead over Manchester United in the race for the Premier League title. However, the Italian insists that there are still diffuclties ahead.

"There are two months left of the season and we are where we want to be," he said.

"We are here in Portugal with a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals and we are top of the Premier League, but we know it will be difficult to win one or both competitions.

"I have a good squad and at this moment, everything is possible."
