Joe Hart: 'Sergio Aguero return is a massive plus'

Joe Hart believes that the return of Sergio Aguero will inspire Manchester City's attack to reach a new level.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has claimed that the return of Sergio Aguero will give the side a much-needed boost as they look to keep the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea.

Aguero came off the bench in Saturday's frustrating 1-1 draw with Everton after spending more than a month on the sidelines with a knee injury, and Hart believes that the Argentine can inspire City's attack to find their best form.

"There is a similar feeling about Sergio. He is a massive plus for us," the England shot-stopper is quoted as saying by The Mirror. "With the boys back – Edin Dzeko is fit as well – we are going to get goals.

"If we continue to create chances like this, we know we will score with those players coming back.

"With Stevan Jovetic, they are three key players, and you feel it with players like that missing, so we are in a good place with them coming back."

City are currently two points behind Chelsea, and eight points ahead of third-placed Southampton in the table.
